The authority signed a joint agreement to work with higher education institutions. Ababa Institute of Technology and Addis Ababa University of Science and Technology signed a joint agreement today. The official office signed the agreement after realizing the importance of supporting technological needs and activities through training and research, creating a common agreement with the universities and having a wide discussion on the tasks that should be done on traffic flow and safety. Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority General Director Ato Kbebew Mideksa said in the discussion that Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority is working together with various partner organizations. This year, a joint agreement was signed with thirteen institutions. The Director-General said that we would like to do various studies with Addis Ababa University on a permanent basis and pointed out that the official office will announce its five-year strategic plan soon. Addis Ababa University Addis Ababa Institute of Technology Chief Executive Director Dr. Bikila Teklu said that it is important and should be encouraged for institutions to identify their problems and work together. Addis Ababa University of Science and Technology, Director of Industrial Relations and Technology Transfer, Dr. Mesfen Tafesem, said institutions should come together and solve problems; He said that the problem is solved by connecting knowledge and problems. In the discussion, other leaders and experts from the three institutions explained the topics and experiences that need to be worked together, and they stated that the ideas raised will be the focus and resource when the agreement is implemented.
