Rural Corridor is a national initiative that plays a major role in changing the lives of farmers and pastoralists. Today, we visited the model rural corridor site that was built by the Prime Minister's Office and related institutions in the Gurafarda District of the Southwest Region of Ethiopia. The model work consists of ten modern houses, each with a living room, bedrooms, animal room and outdoor toilets. The houses are connected to the electricity line and equipped with a satellite dish. The farm also has chicken coops, animal cages, beehives and gardens full of fruits and vegetables. The integrated rural corridor development work using solar energy, biogas and other development activities provides a strong opportunity for a modern, healthy, clean and improved lifestyle for the community. Everyone should play their part so that this work of change can spread in all sectors. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.)
