The Kirkos branch office conducted alcohol control on drivers

Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority's Kirkos branch office carried out a control operation supported by breathalyser yesterday to prevent damage caused by drunk driving.
Out of the 78 drivers who took a breathalyzer test on the Gazebo square in the city from 12:30 pm, one driver was fined according to Rule 395/2009, Level 5/6.
The rest of the drivers were also educated by the control about the dangers of driving under the influence of excessive alcohol.
As the branch office announced, awareness-supported alcohol control will continue to be strengthened in other ways.
Out of 78 drivers who had breath tests on the suburban Gazebo square starting at 12:30 pm, one driver who found 0.8 ml more than 0.4 ml has been fined according to Erken 5/6
The rest of the drivers have been given a friendly lesson from the police regarding the dangers of drunk driving.
According to the branch office, alcohol control supported by awareness will be continued in other lines.
