Based on Regulation No. 557/2016, an alcohol breath test was conducted. M):- Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority Gulele Branch Office together with the members of the traffic police of the sub-city with the help of alcohol testing equipment, alcohol breath test from 12:00 to 2:30 pm. He did. The office conducted the alcohol test at different places in the district and during the control, 94 drivers were checked and fined for having alcohol on their breath.
Addis Ababa City's Regulation Enforcement Authority announced revised penalty levels to make Addis Ababa internationally competitive, clean and comfortable for its residents. The Addis Ababa City Regulation Enforcement Authority and the Addis Ababa Sanitation Management Agency issued a joint statement regarding regulations.
General Manager of the authority, Major Zerihun Tefera, said that the authority has come into action by modifying the penalty levels in Regulation No. 150/2015, which was previously used for cleaning and related illegal activities. He said that by providing detailed information on the levels of punishment to the public, awareness should be created so as not to be penalized due to lack of information. He said that fines ranging from 2,000 Birr to 100,000 Birr have been imposed on individuals and institutions.
