(March 13/ 2016):- Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority, Bole branch office has ordered the removal of the objects that obstruct the movement of pedestrians and the demolition of the stalls. Today, the office carried out a movement to free the footpaths in and around Gulagol Square, where there is a lot of traffic, and 4 stalls were confiscated when they raised various goods. The branch office freed the footpaths and instructed the perpetrators of the action to remove commercial goods from the road and urged them to refrain from their actions in the future. Also, it was taken by demolishing 4 tents widely planted on the footpaths, and it is known that it will be returned when they pay the fine. Education was also given to pedestrians who traveled dangerously and did not use proper footpaths. In the future, people who block the footpath in any lane with any material and do not use the right footpath will be fined according to Regulation No. 395/2009, Bole branch office manager Mr. Brock Waqwa said. It is known that the office carried out the task of freeing the roads and teaching together with the police department of the district, the law enforcement office and volunteer youth. The office has taken away 4 tents in the movement of freeing the pedestrian road in Gulagol square and its surroundings. The branch office has warned the activists of the movement to free pedestrian roads and to keep them away from their actions. Also 4 tents that were widely planted on the pedestrian roads were taken by demolition and it is known that they will be returned when fines are paid. Pedestrians who walked in a friendly and dangerous way and did not use the proper pedestrian path have been given a lesson. Bole branch office manager Mr. Biruk Waqweya stated that those who block the pedestrian road on any of the lines and who don't use the right pedestrian road will be fined according to border number 395/2009. It is known that the office carried out the freeing and educating the roads in cooperation with the sub-city police department, the law enforcement office and youth volunteers. ·
