In order to prevent further traffic collisions due to drunken driving, the Lafto branch office of the Traffic Management Authority conducted a breathalyser-assisted inspection. Of the 189 drivers who were tested on the route from Jemo one end to Varnero Square, none of the drivers tested positive for more than 0.04 milliliters. In the same control operation, three drivers who were found while driving while consuming khat were fined according to the traffic law. As announced by the branch office, the control work based on awareness development work will continue to be strengthened in other lines as well.
