The Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority shared its experience with the members of the 5 regional transport sector group formed under the leadership of the Federal Road Safety and Insurance Fund Service. He shared his experience regarding the activities and technology-supported procedures he is doing to make the flow of vehicles peaceful, to modernize vehicle parking services, to establish appropriate road use, to prevent vehicle speed exceeding the limit, and to facilitate the flow of vehicles. Ato Kbebew Mideksa, the director general of the authority office, delivered his welcome message in the experience sharing program. The Director-General reminded that Addis Ababa city was awarded internationally for the high level of work done in cooperation with stakeholders on driving over the speed limit, which has been identified as the main cause of traffic accidents. Subsequently, the institute's experts explained the status of the institute regarding the activities and technology being carried out in the current fiscal year. After the presentations, the members of the team toured Addis Ababa city traffic control center for general and speed limit radar traffic control, third party and Bolo, Yeka No. 2 vehicle storage building, which works to reduce traffic accidents in the field. In particular, the director of Intelligent Transportation System of the city's traffic control center at the intersection, Mr. Yitbarek Andulaem mentioned that it will be controlled and monitored by one center so that the traffic in the city is peaceful and the flow is convenient for the drivers. The members of the team expressed their opinion that they were impressed with the work that the office is doing for the city's road safety and flow and that they gained a lot of experience from the work that was given to them and the work that they toured. They expressed their belief that the effort to create a favorable environment for traffic in the city will be an example for the regions and that their relationship will be strengthened through such exchange of experience. Finally, the team members were presented with a memento gift from the institute.
